Bill Rich - Camp Founder
2007 NJCAA National Coach of the Year
Under Head Coach Bill Rich, the Women’s Soccer program at SUNY Broome has prospered for the past 25 years. Since taking over in 1997, Coach Rich has compiled a record of 353-88-15, the team has appeared in five NJCAA National Tournament Final Fours, and won National Championships in 2007, 2008, and 2016. Additionally, Coach Rich has produced 34 NJCAA All America players as well as multiple All Conference and All Region players. Coach Rich holds a USSF lifetime C license and NSCAA National Diploma and various certificates and other diplomas. He has coached locally in high school, the Olympic Development Program, and as a rep. for Eurosport Network, taking high school players to Europe for the last 29 years.

Chris Grafton - Camp Director

Head Women's Soccer Coach
Chris Grafton is in his 10th year with the SUNY Broome women's soccer team, serving as head coach since 2022. Coach Grafton was the Associate and Goalkeeper coach since he joined the women's program in 2015. A SUNY Broome graduate, Grafton served as the Hornets' goalkeeper in 1996 and 1997, leading as team captain in '97. Chris has made a large difference, not only as the Goalkeeper Coach for the Championship Women's Team at SUNY Broome, but also as a Goalkeeper Coach with local BC United, VYSA, GBFC clubs and local High Schools.Chris also coaches for the New York State Section IV All-Star team, which competes in Europe annually. He holds a coaching license and several diplomas from United Soccer Coaches and International Goalkeeper Coaches Conference.

MarTee Kolpakas - Technical Director

Associate Women's Soccer Coach
After graduating from Binghamton High School, MarTee entered SUNY Broome in the fall of 2010 to pursue higher education. At SUNY Broome, MarTee played soccer for two years, was named Captain in her second year, and was an academic All American. She was a multi-sport athlete, playing both softball and lacrosse while earning her associates degree. Post Broome, MarTee continued on to SUNY Cortland where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education. Upon returning to the area, MarTee joined the Women's Soccer team as an assistant coach and will be entering her ninth season this fall. Coach Rich recognized MarTee's passion for, and understanding of the game, and is grateful to have her as part of the coaching team.

European Soccer Tour - Section IV All Stars
For over thirty years, the Hornet Soccer Camp Coaches have taken boys and girls high school teams to Europe where they have competed successfully in tournaments and "friendlies" in Holland, Belgium, France, Italy, Germany, Ireland and Spain.
